The Estates and Technology Transformation Fund was set up to offer a much needed £800m investment into the NHS Primary Healthcare infrastructure. The investment sets out to deliver improved access to effective care, increased capacity for primary care services out of hospital, a commitment to a wider range of services to reduce unplanned admissions to hospital and increased staff training.
As a record of these improvements, I was asked to produce a photographic document, capturing the transformations. Working with photographer Mike Ellis, we visited a number of the NHS estates to shoot a series of stories, showing how patients and staff experiences have improved.
